We're looking for the good in all areas of our school community! Bus drivers are on the lookout for students that are following all the bus rules including staying in your seat, keeping your hands to yourself, and talking in an appropriate voice level (no screaming or yelling, and not using any inappropriate language). It's a great day in Mrs. McDonald's Kindergarten class. They read the Geodes book Galapagos Island 🗺️ and then practiced animal yoga poses 🧘🏻♀️ such as the warrior for seagull, plank for iguana🦎, upward facing dog for sea lion, and child’s pose for tortoise 🐢. They also used shaving cream to practice their Fundation letter formations.





Next week is Special Needs Awareness week and we are wearing yellow to show our support. 💛

5th grade students are using a piece of information text from Wit & Wisdom to learn about how the Nez Perce homeland sustain their lifestyle and culture. They are preparing to teach each other by gathering information on their specific topic.





Mrs. Livesey's Kindergarten class is hard at work today working on their letter formation and pencil grasp. They also completed an amazing word web on the vocabulary word city. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

This week, we’re supporting #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek by wearing green and learning techniques we can use to pick ourselves up when we're having a had a bad day.

Math all around! Kindergarten is working on decomposing numbers in story problems while 2nd grade is exploring place value by creating bundles of 10.

Last week, Mrs. Taylor's first grade class learned about Johnny Appleseed and how he was a good citizen. They also learned about apples and were able to taste test apples too!
