STUDENT OF THE WEEK - Quinn Lemanski likes to read, the color yellow and mac-n-cheese, so she's your typical Kindergartener - her teacher Regina Royal thinks she's that and then some. Quinn is the latest Pender County Schools’ Student of the Week https://bit.ly/3LVeXzr

Check our Mrs. Comstock's kiddos. They are learning about magnets and magnetism in science class so they used a magnet broom to search for magnetic objects outside. Look what the kids found!

We are super excited to host this years Elementary Battle of the Books competition. Our team hard worked so hard for the past few months reading and rereading all 15 books. Wish them luck on Thursday!

Ms. Becky Moore was gracious enough to come do a lesson on dental health with some first grade classes as well.

Military kids who participate in the MFLC program enjoyed working on some Valentine's Day cards for Veterans with Ms. Mally, our Military Family Life Counselor.

What a great start Sea Turtles! Lets keep up the great work together to help our school. We are so appreciative to everyone involved.

Surf City Elementary recognizes and appreciates the dedication and service of all these amazing bus drivers!

Students worked on making Valentine's cards for Veterans in Mrs. Godwin's guidance class. Great work spreading the love! ❤️

Thank you to our wonderful drivers for their service to our students and the community. Be sure to give a shout-out to your favorite driver by replying to this post.

5th grade classes had the Marine CSI come today to follow up on their ecosystem unit. Students learned about salt water marshes and worked in cooperative groups to build relationships among organisms.

Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Godwin, knows that school counselors are better together because they create programs such as The Peer Buddy Program which pairs outstanding fifth graders with younger students to be their buddy and role model. #NSCW22
