We’ve been made aware of a scam involving a company called Elite Sports Promo (https://www.elitesportspromos.com/) that is falsely claiming to represent Pender High School and Pender County Schools while seeking sponsorship funds. Reports from other districts indicate that multiple businesses have already been misled.
To be clear, no Pender County School partners with outside marketing companies to secure sponsorships. The only legitimate organizations authorized to collect funds for our athletic programs are the Booster Clubs.
If your business is contacted by anyone claiming to represent our school for advertising or sponsorship purposes, we encourage you to verify their identity and contact your school directly.

Our back playground is changing! The students will be so thrilled when they return to school. The sod is going down so no more sand blowing in their faces, no more tracking dirt and sand inside the building....and a Gaga-ball floor! An Internet outage is currently impacting Topsail and Surf City Schools, potentially affecting both Internet and phone lines at these locations. Four County Electric has confirmed that the issue stems from a fiber line that was cut. At this time, there is no estimated time for restoration. We are actively working with Four County Electric to monitor the situation and will post updates on our website and social media channels as soon as more information becomes available.

Did You Know that PCS is once again providing free summer meals to children across the county? Beginning Wednesday, June 18, and running weekly through Wednesday, July 30, families can pick up five days’ worth of breakfast and lunch at four convenient school sites: South Topsail Elementary, C.F. Pope Elementary, Malpass Corner Elementary, and Rocky Point Elementary. Meal pickup will take place every Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Mrs. Allen’s 2nd grade class is celebrating the end of the year by doing measurement activities on “Beach Day”! Thanks parents for the awesome pool/beach float donations that make learning more fun! 🏖️☀️
For first grade's culminating activity for module for Wit and Wisdom, Cinderella stories, Miss Fields dressed up as Disney’s Cinderella and read the Disney version of the story. They compared and contrasted this book to other Cinderella stories that they read during this module.

Kindergarten is hosting a Kindergarten Screening Event for all newly registered Kindergarten students who will be enrolled at SCE for the 25-26 School Year. We can't wait to meet our newest Sea Turtles! All screenings will take place at Surf City Elementary on June 3rd only.
