It is time for the annual Rocky Point Elementary Yearbook Cover Contest! Entries will be accepted now until October 13th. The winner will have their artwork featured as the cover of the 2023-24 yearbook and will receive a FREE yearbook! You can find all of the guidelines here - good luck!

Join us THIS FRIDAY, September 8th from 4-9pm at the Highway 55 in Castle Hayne! Hwy55 is donating money raised that night for the Rocky Point Orchestra, which will be traveling to Winston-Salem in November to perform at a state music conference. We hope to see you there!

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Samantha Carter to our RPES family as our School Social Worker! Ms. Carter's favorite color is purple (have you noticed that a lot of our staff likes purple?) and she loves seafood. She went to Western Carolina University - Go, Catamounts! Hi, families of upcoming kindergarten students! Your future kindergarten teachers wanted to share an update about our “staggered start” for kindergarten.
Each student will be assigned a start day - either Monday 8/28, Tuesday 8/29, or Wednesday 8/30. Your child will only come one of those days and your child’s teacher will let you know what day they are assigned tonight at open house! After Wednesday, all kindergarten students will attend on Thursday 8/31 and continue to come every day from then on.
We can’t wait to meet each of you tonight and are ready for a fabulous school year!

Ms. Feit (pronounced like 'fight') will be joining our 4th grade team this year! Originally from New York, Ms. Feit is a big Giants and Mets fan. Her favorite color is lavender and her favorite food is mac 'n cheese. In her free time, she loves reading and going to the beach. You'll never guess her favorite animal.........a moose!
