Congratulations to Ms. Hansley-Jones for receiving a grant from the Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma! This money will go towards the "Literacy Through Photography" program that is being done with the 21st Century students.


Mark your calendars and start counting down the days - the RPE Winter Concerts are right around the corner! 3rd, 4th & 5th grade will perform on Wednesday, December 6th and Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade will perform on Tuesday, December 12th. Both concerts start promptly at 6pm. Students are asked to be in the gym by 5:45pm and to dress nicely.

This Wednesday, November 29th, all parents are invited to attend the monthly School Improvement Team (SIT) meeting. It's important for us to hear parent voices at these meetings, so if you can, please plan on attending! The meeting begins at 2:45pm; we hope to see you there!

A huge "Thank you!" to Four County Electric Membership Corporation for awarding TWO Bright Ideas grants to Rocky Point Elementary! Ms. Hansley-Jones was awarded $2,000 for a "Literacy Through Photography" project and Mrs. Black was awarded $1,000 that will go towards the orchestra program. We are so thankful for our community supporters!
