Instruments galore! It's certainly been Fun Friday in music today!
Lots going on in the music room at Rocky Point! This month,, students have been learning about the Instruments of the Orchestra, and Mrs. Black brought in some brass instruments for the students to try!
We're on the move! Second Grade has headed West as they read all about the Plains Indians in Wit and Wisdom, and 4th Grade is launching to the moon! Literacy is just about reading - it's about writing, too! #ExperienceTheExcellence
Our 21st Century program is always having a great time! This week, they enjoyed discussing states of matter and how salt and water plays a part in the thawing and refreezing process. Students sprinkled salt to hook ice cubes! It wasn't very cold out the day, but we pretended like it.

RPE staff went back to school today, and we're getting ready to see everyone next week! Students report on Monday, January 8. First bell is at 7:00 to let students in to class/breakfast and the tardy bell is at 7:20. We can't wait to see everyone!
