Do you need something for your student to do this summer? Well, Mrs. Black is offering Summer Orchestra classes for any rising 2nd-6th graders who may be interested! The club is free, and all students will be provided with a school instrument to use. Students who are new to orchestra will meet on select Mondays from 3:45-4:30, and students who have already been in orchestra will meet on select Mondays from 4:45-5:30.

If you've ever thought that students don't do any learning at the end of the year, think again! Ms. Stewart's class has been busy working on a "Goods & Service" project, as well as an animal research project. To reward their hard work and healthy attendance, these Rams got to enjoy root beer floats and cotton candy! Both of these treats are available to any class that earns enough "Rams" for demonstrating our Ram Behaviors and for any class that has a consistent rate of 95% student attendance. Great job, 2nd Grade! #OnePender

We're excited to announce that we have been chosen to produce a Disney Kids musical in the Spring of 2027! Rocky Point is one of 200 schools in the country that will be a part of this elite program. More details will be announced in the Fall so stay tuned! #OnePender

Today, we are beyond proud to celebrate our principal, Ms. April Perkins, for being named the 2026 Pender County Schools Principal of the Year!

This recognition is so well deserved and such a reflection of the care, encouragement, and love she pour into our students, staff, and families every single day. Whether it’s greeting students in the hallway, supporting teachers, celebrating successes big and small, or simply making Rocky Point feel like home, Ms. Perkins leads with heart first.

Our school is better because of them, and we are so lucky they are our principal. Congratulations on this incredible honor, Ms. Perkins! Your Rams family is cheering so loudly for you today!

Calling all 5th grade families!!

Rising 6th graders are eligible to attend Pender County School's CTE "Summer Exploration Camp" at Heide Trask HS or Pender HS. The camp is FREE for PCS students!

Students will explore different career pathways such as culinary arts, engineering, early childhood education, and so much more!

The camp runs from June 8th-June 12th from 8:30am-2:30pm. Transportation and meals are included!

It's Testing Time! Our students have worked incredibly hard all year and now they have the chance to show us what they learned! Test time can be a very stressful time, so we want to do everything we can to assure students that they are prepared and just need to use the strategies they've learned all year. So...we're having a Spirit Week to celebrate all of this year's accomplishments! Check out the themes for each day and show up with that positive attitude you e had all year! And remember, you can do this!!
