This past Tuesday, harpist Christina Brier visited Rocky Point Elementary to perform for the 2nd & 4th graders. Tomorrow's the Day! Join us during our Wit & Wisdom time to learn about what your student is reading in school! Parents are invited to join their student's class Monday, February 26th from 7:20-9:00am to participate in a Wit & Wisdom lesson and learn about the historical figure the class studied for Black History Month. From 9:00-10:00, classroom doors will be closed and parents are invited to walk around the school to learn about all of the important heroes highlighted on each classroom door.
To celebrate and honor Black History Month, each class has learned about a famous African American to decorate their door with! Join us the morning of Feb. 26th to tour the school and see these boards in person!
