Penderlea School is our latest middle school to receive the Pender County Schools Staff Honor Roll Award for the 23-24 school year. The entire Penderlea coaching staff has achieved the Level 1 designation through the NFHS.
A commitment to professional development and personal growth is essential for providing our student-athletes the best possible experience during their time in Pender County Schools. Coach Umphress and her staff have displayed a dedication to professional development by having all coaches complete a 4 course regiment through nfhslearn.com;
Middle School Coaching or Fundamentals of Coaching
Concussions in Sports
Protecting Kids from Abuse
Sudden Cardiac Arrest
These courses are designed to help our coaches provide a safe and meaningful experience for our student-athletes. The coaching staff at Penderlea should be commended for their commitment to their student-athletes!
Congratulations Mrs. McNeill, Coach Umphress, and staff!
