Come join the annual PECHS House Opening Ceremony Friday September 26th. 12:00 House procession around the Burgaw Courthouse followed by 1:00 House Field Day Competitions on the PECHS Campus. Families are ecouraged to join! Something Cool Food truck will be on campus as well.

Earth Science students have been learning about astronomy and put their engineering skills to the test by building and racing moon rovers. They had limited supplies and the rovers had to be powered by rubber bands. The winning rover traveled 262cm!

Biology classes have been learning about cell membranes and transport. They conducted an experiment to study osmosis with gummy bears and carrots. No real bears were harmed in this experiment.

This free event is a great opportunity for high school students and their parents to explore what it takes to attend one of the five prestigious U.S. military service academies.
