Doughnut are on sale now and can be picked up on February 24th. Deadline to order is February 20th.

PECHS celebrates Abby Robbins and Shannon Grable for Counselor Appreciation Week! Our PTA provided them with a bag of goodies and a plant. The staff gave each of them a $50 Amazon gift card, breakfast, and many notes of thanks for all that they do to support our students and families.

DOCUMENTARY SCREENING OF C.F. POPE: WHERE CHAMPIONS WERE GROWN

“C.F. Pope: Where Champions Were Grown” (2022) is a story about the C.F. Pope School in Burgaw. C.F. Pope School was founded in 1891 by the Middle District Missionary Baptist Association and began as a school for ministers. The school was accredited in 1924 and became one of only two high schools for African Americans in Pender County.
This documentary screening is free to attend and will feature a Q&A with Dr. Richard Newkirk, a renowned C.F. Pope alumni, immediately following the screening.
This event is free and open to the public.
