Before we officially say hello to October, let's take a moment to reflect on the amazing things we did this past month: an epic Unified volleyball game with staff and students, a colorful Ofrenda display in the HTHS library in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, elaborate paper roller coasters to show understanding of velocity & other physical science concepts, informative visits from various college reps, and so much more!

The results are in...CONGRATS to all of our 2025 Homecoming court nominees. Students will vote for king and queen throughout next week, and the winners will be announced at the Homecoming game on Friday. Students will vote for the prince and princess of their grade level at Saturday's Homecoming dance!

Earlier today, we posted about opportunities specifically for our Juniors and Seniors. Well, next week's Homecoming festivities are open to ALL grade levels. No matter what grade you're in, we hope you'll join in the fun!

Are you in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade & interested in joining the military? Register to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on Wednesday (9/17) in the Media Center at 8:30AM. The ASVAB Signup Form can be found in your grade level Google Classroom.
Want to join our Afterschool Program? Visit room 332 this Wednesday from 5-6pm for orientation! Students must attend an orientation before being accepted into the program. If you can not attend in person, please reach out to Mr. Williams to discuss other orientation options.
We're excited to host 2 special events at HTHS tonight! To accommodate more individuals comfortably, the Special Olympics Pender County Community Partnership Meeting has been moved to the HTHS Auditorium. The CFCC Information Tour will take place in the library. See you soon!
