
We are so excited to welcome our rising Kindergarten and third-grade students on campus Monday, August 7 for our Summer Bridge program. The school day will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Lunch and breakfast will be provided.
If your child is a bus rider, you should receive a call or text shortly regarding approximate pick-up and drop-off times. Car riders will be dropped off and picked up in the carpool lane located at the back of the school. Students who report to campus after 8:30 should be brought to the front office to check in.

School supplies will be provided for students by our school for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Teachers may have wishlists, but supplies that students will need for instructional purposes will be distributed to students.

Pender County Schools, in partnership with the NC Department of Public Instruction and No Kid Hungry North Carolina, will help connect more area kids and teens to free summer meals programs by raising awareness about the program and making it easier for families to get to a summer meals site.
Meals will be available for pickup every Wednesday beginning June 21, 2023, and running through August 16, 2023. Pickup sites are as follows:
· Malpass Corner Elementary
· C.F. Pope Elementary
· Rocky Point Elementary

Please join us for a conversation about PCS's consideration of a three-tiered bus routing system and how it may affect our bell schedule. Join us Tues., May 23 at Heide Trask HS and/or Wed., May 24 at Topsail HS. Both meetings begin at 6pm in the school auditorium.


EOG testing begins in 2 weeks on May 16. We would like to encourage all students who are testing (3rd, 4th, & 5th graders) by having a letter for them to read from their families the morning of testing! Please see the attached for more information! This is for 3rd thru 5th grades

Field day is this Thursday 5/4. We are asking for donations of bottled water to help keep the students, staff, and volunteers hydrated. If you are able to donate any water, please bring it to the school office between now and Thursday! Thank you for your help!
