Changing your perspective changes your experience.

Good Morning Panther Families,
During our student arrival time this morning students and staff had to evacuate the building due to a strong gas odor on one of the hallways. Burgaw Fire Department and PCS Maintenance Department responded promptly to the concern. All students and staff were able to return to the building safely around 7:40 a.m. with an "All Clear” from our safety officials. All K-5 students have had the opportunity to receive breakfast at this time and teaching and learning has resumed.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priority and I want to recognize and thank our local law enforcement and fire department for their rapid response from all parties and also say how proud I am of how our students and staff members handled the unexpected situation.
Thank you for your time and understanding. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Ms. Moore, the principal, at 910-789-6021.

PTO is well underway in the planning of, "The Most Magical Week of the Year" with a Disney themed teacher appreciation week May 6th-10th. Use the link or QR code to "adopt" a staff member for the week.
