We would like to say "Thank You" to all our bus drivers. You get our students to school and take them back home. You are such a necessary part of our school, and we appreciate everything you do!!!!
8th graders in ELA are learning about contact sports, and if they are worth the risk to play or not. Today, students got to take their knowledge from an article about concussions and CTE and interview a former Brevard College QB about his experience with concussions and the potential that he could have CTE. Also Coach Hammock, our reading tutor, has added integral knowledge in this unit from his over 30 years of coaching experience. Go Grizzlies!

Today was an exciting day for our 8th grade students. They went to Heide Trask High School to learn about all HTHS has to offer. They took tours and participated in information sessions to get ready for registration.
