Before spring break, our Cape Fear Middle School Grizzly BETA Club hosted an egg hunt for our students during recess — and it was a BLAST! 🎉
🐾 This was our way of celebrating the incredible effort our students put into reaching their fundraising goal for the K-9 Unit. They worked so hard, and they absolutely deserved this fun reward!
🌟 We are SO proud of our Grizzly BETA Club members for their leadership, compassion, and community spirit. These students show up — and show out — every single time! 🩶💙

This week we’re recognizing Ms. Anna Hayes, Treasurer at Cape Fear Middle School.
Ms. Hayes has been part of Pender County Schools for 50 years. She is a product of our district and has worked at several schools over the years, including Burgaw Elementary, C.F. Pope, Malpass Corner, and now Cape Fear Middle School.
In her current role, she helps keep things running smoothly and supports staff with the day-to-day needs of the school. Many staff members look to her for guidance or just someone to talk to, and she’s always willing to listen and help where she can.
She’s a steady presence in the building and someone people know they can count on.
