This afternoon, students who ride Bus 294 will ride on either Bus 320 or Bus 323. Some students may be dropped off earlier than normal since the route has been split for this afternoon.
A turkey filled day! Turkey math with multiplication, disguise a turkey and write a story, Thanksgiving Table STEM activity and writing about what we're thankful for on the turkey's feathers!
Mrs. Hollifields class celebrated 50 paw prints by having Mr. Greg read a Thanksgiving story!
Third grade wrapped up Wit and Wisdom Module One - The Sea by dissecting a squid 🦑 Students were able to make many connections to what they learned from the book The Giant Squid.
Our Science Olympiad Team members are putting forth great effort and preparing for each of the events.

Wednesday, November 27th begins our Thanksgiving Break. There is no school. We will see students back on Monday, December 2nd.
This is a reminder to parents who have not picked up your fundraiser items to please pick them up before the break.
This is a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation arrangements, please send a note to your child’s teacher. If a change must be made by phone, please contact us by 2:00 pm. Additionally, there are no checkouts after 2:00pm. When signing your child out, please remain inside the office.

Save the date and mark your calendars! The Scholastic Winter Book Fair is coming to Cape Fear Elementary. Our semi annual fair will take place December 9th-13th. The fair will be open Monday through Thursday 10:00-2:00. And Friday from 10:00-12:00. We will also host 2 family Nights on December 10th and 12th. The book fair will be open from 3:30-5:15 both evenings and then you can go and enjoy our musical or winter concert. Volunteers are needed each day to help with this event at our school.
