The 3rd grade team is full of lots of new faces but here is a familiar one, Mrs. Smith!
Kindergarten just completed Module 1, where we learned all about our 5 Senses and how we use our senses to help us read and learn about the world around us. They completed the module by becoming authors and illustrators, creating books sharing what they have learned, specifically referencing evidence from the different texts we read. They shared their books with a partner, practicing giving their partner compliments about their work.
Fall Picture make up day is November 16th.

Our brand new K-Kids club, sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Burgaw, kicked off yesterday at Cape Fear Elementary! We are excited about the wonderful year ahead, full of leadership opportunities and growth for these 3-5 kiddos!

Third grade kicked off their new book, Shark Attack, with a sweet treat. They discussed a shark's habitat before making the edible version.
