Ms. Smith and Ms. Hill's classes enjoyed a tasty treat for the end of unit soil exploration of the layers of soil.




Today, Mrs. Hollifield’s class celebrated finishing their Wit and Wisdom text "The Little Yellow Leaf" by recreating their favorite illustrations from the text with items found on a nature walk.





Our custodians were able to enjoy lunch on us today to end out Custodian Appreciation Week! Thank you for all you do! Deputy Cobb even helped us celebrate!

Kindergarten is making clay sea turtles this week in art! We are learning about texture and the sense of touch! We made the texture on the turtle shells by stepping on the clay!

Todays classroom spotlight is Ms. Hill's 3rd grade. They investigated different types of soils through hands on learning.


Today was the first reading buddies collaboration with the middle school! A group of 3rd grade ML students and 7th grade ML students were able to read together and they had an absolute blast!
