Kindergarten has been working hard building teen numbers up to 20. They have been listening to story problems to identify if it is an addition or subtraction problem. We have been learning about the different parts that make the numbers and how to create a number sentence to solve the problem.

We sleep soundly at night thanks to those who protect our nation! Thank you to all that participated this week.

On Wednesday we celebrated Art and Music with a fantastic Arts Night. Our Cub families were treated to a beautiful Art Exhibit showcasing Art work created through out this school year and our 3rd graders performed a lively melody of Ocean themed songs. Thank you for your hard work Ms. Huckaby and Ms. Kurtz.

Pre-K Field Day fun!

What an exciting day at CFE. Our Cubs learned about a variety of careers from business partners from a variety of companies that came together to our school to share information about their workplace, their job, and the education and skills that are required for success in their career. Thank you Ms. Biersbach for organizing this awesome event!

Hats off to our Military! Tomorrow is Pajama Day: we sleep soundly at night thanks to those who protect our nation!

CFE wore RED today to Remember Everyone that is Deployed. Tomorrow is Hats Off To The Military. Wear your favorite school appropriate hat.

Happy Camping Day in First Grade! The excitement and engagement was amazing, with the class being so quiet and on task, you could hear a pin drop. Students completed their Wit and Wisdom story maps at their campsites, read our weekly Geodes book by the camp fire, worked on measurement in Eureka, and the highlight of the day was brainstorming the steps of our how-to writing while making s’mores.
