BURGAW, NC - A new year brings with it a new graduating class for Pender County Schools.
Mid-year graduation ceremonies for the 2022-2023 school year were held at all PCS high school campuses. A total of 124 students graduated early.
- Pender Early College – 4
- Topsail High School – 44
- Pender Innovative Learning Academy – 18
- Heide Trask High School – 17
- Pender High School – 41
Superintendent Dr. Brad Breedlove along with Board of Education members Ken Smith, Don Hall, Beth Burns and Brent Springer attended the ceremonies.
"From Pender County Schools you have a great foundation in the education." Board Chair Ken Smith said. "If you will remember, everyone goes through storms but only you who are built on strong foundations can withstand them."
End of year graduations will take place on May 19 (Pender Early College, 6pm), June 1 (Pender High School, 9am; Topsail High School, 6:30pm), and June 2 (Heide Trask High School, 9am).
