A potential path to college funding may already be waiting in some students’ DigiCred wallets.

Through the DigiCred Pathways scholarship opportunity, eligible students may receive funds to attend Cape Fear Community College. The opportunity is part of Pender County Schools’ ongoing commitment to connecting students and families with meaningful education and career pathways after high school.

Students With a DigiCred Wallet

Students who received a DigiCred wallet in 2025 or 2026 are encouraged to take action now:

  1. Open the DigiCred wallet app and select the DigiCred Pathways scholarship opportunity.

  2. Follow the instructions in the app to submit your PCS transcript directly through your DigiCred wallet.

After submitting their transcripts, students should continue checking the app for additional instructions and updates.

Students Without a DigiCred Wallet

Students who do not currently have a DigiCred wallet will have an opportunity to receive one during the upcoming school year. Not having a wallet today does not prevent a student from learning more about the scholarship or participating once wallet distribution becomes available.

Pender County Schools looks forward to supporting students as they explore the many educational and career pathways available through Cape Fear Community College and take their next steps toward life after high school.
