Beth Burns School Board Appreciation Month

During School Board Appreciation Month, Pender County Schools celebrates Beth Burns, who represents District 2 on the Pender County Board of Education.

Ms. Burns has served on the Board since 2018 and is recognized for her commitment to inclusive, student-centered decision-making. She is known as an approachable and engaged leader who values collaboration and strives to ensure that all students, regardless of background or ability, have access to meaningful educational opportunities.

Her consistent presence at board meetings, school events, and community activities reflects her dedication to staying connected to the people she serves. Ms. Burns’ thoughtful leadership continues to contribute to the district’s progress and long-term success.

Superintendent Dr. Breedlove expressed his gratitude, stating, “Ms. Burns is deeply committed to doing what is best for students and staff. Her experience, consistency, and collaborative spirit have been invaluable to our district.”
