Don Hall School Board Appreciation Month

In recognition of School Board Appreciation Month, Pender County Schools recognizes Don Hall, who serves as Board Chair of the Pender County Board of Education. Mr. Hall was elected to the Chair position during the December 9, 2025 Board of Education meeting, continuing his long-standing commitment to the district.

Representing District 3, Mr. Hall has served on the Board since 2016 and brings nearly a decade of experience to his leadership role. Throughout his tenure, he has been a strong advocate for students, families, and educators. His leadership is grounded in transparency, and a strong belief in public education as the foundation of a thriving community.

In addition to his work on the Board of Education, Mr. Hall previously served on the State of North Carolina Mental Health Commission, where he helped address issues impacting student and family well-being across the state.

Superintendent Dr. Brad Breedlove shared his appreciation for Mr. Hall’s leadership, stating, “Mr. Hall’s dedication to Pender County Schools is evident in every decision he makes. His experience and genuine care for students and staff make him an exceptional leader for our Board and our district.”

During School Board Appreciation Month, we thank Mr. Hall for his years of service and his continued leadership as Board Chair.
