BURGAW, NC - At its December 9, 2025 meeting, the Board of Education unanimously elected new officers for the coming year.
Don Hall, who served as Vice-Chair during 2025, was elected Chair. Mr. Hall represents District 3 and is currently serving a term from 2024–2028. Jennifer Hansen, representative for District 1 and serving a term from 2022–2026, was unanimously elected Vice-Chair.
The Board expressed its appreciation to outgoing Chair Beth Burns for her leadership and service.
