PENDER COUNTY, NC - Pender County Schools announces a Special Board of Education Meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, located at 798 US-117, Burgaw, NC 28425. Board members may attend either in person or virtually.
The purpose of the meeting is for the Pender County Board of Education to consider naming of School Mascots for J. H. Lea K-8 School project and to consider approval of School Improvement Plans. Portions of the meeting may be held in closed session, and there will be no public comment period.
