survey

Pender County Schools is calling on families to participate in an important statewide initiative to better understand students’ access to digital devices and internet at home. As part of the State Digital Learning Dashboard—required under North Carolina General Statute §115C-102.9—school districts across the state are collecting data that will help inform decisions about how to best support students' digital needs outside the classroom.

The brief survey asks families to share information about internet connectivity and device availability in their household. The data collected will guide efforts to ensure every student has equitable access to the tools necessary for learning, no matter where they live.

“This is a critical opportunity for families to help shape the future of digital learning in our state,” said Dr. Brad Breedlove, Superintendent of Pender County Schools. “When we know where the gaps are, we can work together to address them—ensuring that all students have the resources they need to succeed.”

The survey is short, anonymous, and takes only a few minutes to complete. No personal or identifying information is collected, and families are asked to complete one survey per child. After submitting the form, there is an option to “Submit another response” for those with multiple children enrolled in the district.
