Pender County Elementary Teachers, Instructional Coaches, and Administrators are preparing for the 2023-2024 school year with a new curriculum for both Reading and Math.
Great Minds presenters facilitated overview training of the new curriculums, giving participants an opportunity to dig deeper throughout the summer in preparation for the upcoming school year. These new countywide programs provide the opportunity for teachers to collaborate and engage in learning with others across schools.
The new curriculum is creating a buzz of excitement!
According to the feedback we received from these sessions, teachers are enthusiastic to implement a solid curriculum that includes research-based instructional practices and routines that will foster growth in our students in the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
