Mrs. Baer's 8th grade Pirates Lair enjoyed their first meeting with their reading buddies from Mrs. Popolo and Mrs. Jefferys 2nd grade classes from TAES! It was a joy to see them excited to read to each other in the TMS library!
TMS students were rewarded today for good behavior in Q2. Students who got a sticker on their Pirate Passport enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies! Thank you to all our volunteers parent donations, PBIS team and SGA members who served them all!
Congratulations to Noah Edwards, Andrew O'Reilly, and Matthew Roman for competing in the Pender County Science Fair and advancing to the Regional Science Fair competition at UNCW.
Yearbook Dedications are available now through March 1st! This is offered only to our 8th graders. It is similar to Senior Ads at the high school. The cost is $25 per dedication for a quarter page, $50 half page, etc. You (or your parents) will create your own design with pictures and text using the link. Due by March 1st. This deadline is firm. Absolutely no ads will be accepted after this date.

TMS Winter Break has begun! Students enjoyed their last day before break with PJs and PBIS fun. "Pirate Bucks" were exchanged for fun activities! Everyone have a safe and enjoyable winter break. We will see students back Monday, January 9, 2023.

Students in Ms. Bafunno’s World Geography classes completed their
“Holidays in Europe” project by presenting their research to the
class. These students took advantage of an extra credit opportunity by
making a traditional food from the country they studied!
5th grade students worked hard on science fair projects! Today, 8th grade students did peer evaluations and ballots have come in all day !

On Friday, Mrs. Wieland's 8th graders helped their Book Buddies from Mrs. Krieger's class at TAES to make paper bag snowflakes for the winter holidays.
