We had our first ever JV Battle of the Books virtual meet with Surf City Middle this month. Our JV team did amazing and won one of the three battles! Even though we didn't bring home the cup by 2 pts difference, this team did an amazing job! Way to go Pirate Readers!

Congratulations to our TMS boy and girl soccer teams for advancing to the championship game! We are scheduled for Thursday championship games! The weather is questionable, so a heads up that next Monday will be the makeup date if necessary. Make plans now to cheer on our teams!
Last week, Mrs. Day and four of her students went to Raleigh to a Computer Science Expo. TMS represented the SE region of NC. Mrs. Day and her students showed others what they have learned, saw what other schools were doing, and had conversations with both the State Superintendent, Dr. Truitt, and the CEO of code.org. Way to go Pirates!
