Please note the dates of testing and chromebook and cord returns at TMS. All students need a charged chromebook and cord each day they are testing. Teachers will collect all chromebooks and cords on the last day of their testing.


World Geography 8th grade students presented their "nation in a bag" to first graders from TAES in Mrs. Ording, Mrs. Tuttle and Mrs. Courtney's class! It was fun to collaborate with the elementary students in our learning.





The first day of Staff Appreciation was a success! Staff enjoyed pizza from Italian Bistro, salad and cookies. A special should out to Italian Bistro in Porters Neck…they were amazing to work with, extremely generous AND the pizza was fantastic! Staff also got to browse over 40 raffle items donated by amazing businesses and TMS parents.

TMS Spring Band concert was a success tonight! Thanks to Mr. Norem and his students for an enjoyable concert.

Mrs. Fabbie and Mrs Bowles 5th grade classes traveled to downtown Wilmington Hannah Block Historic USO- Community Arts Center to enjoy the play/musical "Tuck Everlasting" after reading the novel in their ELA class.

A big congratulations to the robotics team for representing TMS at the Pender County Robotics Competition. This was Pender County's first robotics competition and our team worked many long hours to build and program a robot. They learned so much and are excited about using what they've learned to make the robot even better. Thanks to Mrs. Day and Mrs. Gleason for leading our team!


TMS chess exhibition consisted of 17 students playing chess for one hour, 10 minutes per game. The last player standing was Kyle M. Thanks to Mr. Lu, Mr. Sisto and Mrs. VanDalen for helping make this event happen!



Math club ended with two contestants winner Jin G. and Mady L.



Mr. Bell shared his diving experience on the World War Two German U-boat wreck off the NC Coast (u-352). He even brought in this boot to share with Ms. Bafunno’s classes!



Members of our Student Government Association chose to spend their
meeting time beautifying our school, starting with the bathrooms!
