Congratulations to the Marching Pirates on a great prelims and finals run at West Johnston High School on Saturday.

2nd place - 4A General Effect
During our final run General Effect and Visual Performance was first place for the day. They ended the day in 4th place overall! We are so proud of our Topsail Marching Pirates!

Next week a representative from ACT will be offering two different student/parent information sessions for PCS families. See the flyer below for more information.


On November 2nd only, we are offering one free cookie to all students that eat both a school breakfast and a school lunch with us.
When the student comes to the register for breakfast, they will receive a ticket. At lunch, they should bring this ticket back and give it to the cashier to receive their free cookie. Please note that both chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies will be offered, and they are both whole grain cookies.

Yesterday, THS DECA took 47 students to complete at the regional competition. These students have worked hard studying for their competitive tests and role play events. The following students came home with medals and trophies:
Lane Schott placed in the top 10 in the overalls for Apparel. Anthony Dresher and Oscar Philips placed in the top 3 for test scores in Entrepreneurship. Wesley Rhinehart placed in the top 3 for role play in Entrepreneurship. Wesley Rhinehart, Abby Holloman and Tanner Kereszturi placed in the top 10 in the overalls for Entrepreneurship and Abby Holloman took 3rd place overall. Kaila Grenier placed in the top 10 for Hospitality and Tourism overalls. For Principles of Marketing Role play, Cole Pearson and Audrey Hedge placed in the top 3, with both students placing in the top 10 for the overalls. Cole Pearson took 3rd place. Clara Smith and Dash Hoffman were recognized for their test scores in Quick Serve. Kailani Fisher and Clara Smith placed in the top ten for Quick Serve in the overalls, with Kailani placing 2nd overall. In Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Lucas Curtis placed in the top for test scores. Mac Woest and Sam Kessel placed in the top for role play. Luke Husby and Mac Woest placed in the top 10 in the overalls for Sports and Entertainment Marketing with Mac Woest taking 3rd place overall. We are so proud of all our THS DECA students and look forward to their States in February.
