Congratulations to the Topsail High Coast Guard JROTC Raider team for their performance at the Raider Challenge competition hosted by Pender High School Army JROTC on Saturday November 18th. Topsail Coast Guard JROTC Raiders competed in their first-ever Raider competition against 7 Army JROTC teams from across the region. The team won first place overall for the competition. In individual events, the team placed first in the Knot Tying Relay, and the Team Physical Fitness Challenge, and they placed third in the team 5k run, the Logistics Race, and the Rope Bridge event. Congratulations and Bravo Zulu to Team Captain Cadet Emma Danford, and Cadets Dylan Bennett, McKenzie Dendy, Chloe Dzyerzynski, Chrisalee Garofolo, and Kolby Livings. Winterguard Auditions 2023-2024

PCS is partnering with Trillium to bring these information sessions to families and school staff. Use the QR codes on the flyers to register. School staff is also more than welcome to attend! It is for adults (as the flyer says), and is also appropriate for 4th - 12th grade families.

PECHS will host Parent Night for all students interested in applying as a Freshman or transfer student. There are 2 sessions - 11/6 at the CFCC Surf City Campus or 11/8 at PECHS from 6:00pm to 7:00pm #ExperienceTheExcellence

Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership is hosting a college fair on Nov. 4th. The event brings in area admissions representatives from multiple Colleges and Universities. Assistance for students applying for financial aid and the FAFSA process will also be provided.

Look at our October winners for PBIS: 9th Grader Maddox Gardner and 10th Grader Grace Berry. Both did not have a single absence or tardy!!! Way to go and keep it up!!!

Hey everyone look who won our PBIS prize last week!!!

All Juniors and Seniors please join us on Tuesday, November 7th from 6:30 until 9:00pm. Food truck food and funnel cakes will be available for purchase. This will take place on the practice field at Topsail High School. Please see flyer attached for more details.

Hello, A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at THS on 11/1/2023 to photograph Fall Retake pictures. https://strawbridge.fotomerchanthv.com/clients/topsail-high-school/fall-retake-pictures-11-1-2023-60/optIn This link will allow parents to sign up to receive updates via email regarding their child's school portraits. These updates include promotions, additional deals and the ability to order more pictures at a later time. When entering student information, parents should be sure to enter the student's name as it is on file at the school. Thank you, Strawbridge Studios, Inc.

Parents, This year our federally connected survey date is Friday, October 27, 2023. This survey will document the students that are federally connected by having a parent that is on active duty or a civilian employee on federal property. Federal regulations require that we collect this information EVERY YEAR even if you have already completed it in previous years. We have moved this process online via Scribbles instead of sending out the paper survey cards. Due to federal guidelines, we are required to have parents/guardians who are federally connected to complete a survey as of, and not prior to, our survey date which is October 27, 2023. Please login to your Scribbles account and complete the Military Information Update form for each of your PCS students. This will enable us to capture accurate data to submit the Impact Aid Grant. We are asking that this be submitted no later than Friday, November 10, 2023. If you are unsure how to submit the form, please contact your school for assistance. Thank you!
