Topsail High School is pleased to announce Matt Davis as our Interim Athletic Director effective July 1st. Mr. Davis currently serves as our County AD and will return to that role once a permanent hire is approved. On behalf of our Pirate family, we want to thank Tod Morgan for his contributions to our athletic program. With his guidance, our school community was recently recognized by the NCHSAA as an Exemplary School. Mr. Morgan will continue to serve Topsail High School in his current role as Assistant Principal.

An Internet outage is currently impacting Topsail and Surf City Schools, potentially affecting both Internet and phone lines at these locations. Four County Electric has confirmed that the issue stems from a fiber line that was cut. At this time, there is no estimated time for restoration. We are actively working with Four County Electric to monitor the situation and will post updates on our website and social media channels as soon as more information becomes available.

I am pleased to shared that graduation will take place today, 5/29, at 6:30pm in the stadium. Gates will open at 5pm and graduates are to report to the TMS gym in their cap and gown at 5:30pm. Congratulations to THS Men's Golf Coach John Calarco - 2025 Coach of the Year for the Men's Golf Mideastern Conference!! Coach led the Pirates to a second place finish in the Conference Championship - David Quinones finished 13th in the state as an individual.
