We are proud to recognize these outstanding students who rank at the top of their junior class. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have earned them the honor of serving as Junior Marshals.
In this important role, they will assist with senior events and graduation, representing our school with pride and leadership. This achievement reflects not only their academic success but also their character, responsibility, and perseverance.
We look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the year ahead—congratulations again! 👏

Each day at the end of morning announcements, we are reminded that as Pirates, we are positive, involved, responsible, attentive, thoughtful, and empowered. This year, the faculty started a new initiative to honor the quintessential characteristics of a Topsail Pirate by nominating students in the senior class who most exhibit each of the six qualities. This week, we are focusing on the Thoughtful trait. Thoughtful Pirates are considerate, display kindness towards others, take time to reflect on their learning, and practice mindfulness of their words and actions. The 25-26 winner of the Thoughtful Pirate Award is Achilleas Fertitta-Boutis.

As part of the CFCC All Registration Tour, our team—including representatives from the Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions, CCP, Academic Advising, the Boost Program, and the Health Sciences Enrollment Center—will be at THS on May 1st to assist high school seniors as they finalize their enrollment at CFCC for the fall. We will also be available to support CCP students with any needs they may have. Our goal is for students to leave the event having made meaningful progress, whether that means completing admissions steps, finalizing their schedules, or gaining clarity on next steps.
We hope to see you there!

This year, the faculty started a new initiative to honor the quintessential characteristics of a Topsail Pirate by nominating students in the senior class who most exhibit each of the six qualities. This week, we are focusing on the Attentive trait. Attentive Pirates work hard to understand and meet the needs of others in the school and community. Listening, showing appropriate focus in and out of class, and using positive and alert body language are all ways that Topsail students show their skills of attentiveness. The 25-26 winner for the Attentive Pirate Award is Andrew Kraus.

During the trip, the band earned Excellent ratings for their performance. This is an impressive accomplishment considering the ensemble had only two hours of full-group rehearsal time to prepare.
In addition to their performance, students had the opportunity to explore Colonial Williamsburg. The trip also included time to enjoy the attractions and rides at Busch Gardens.
We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, exemplary behavior, and the way they continue to grow both as musicians and as young leaders.
