Students had an amazing hands-on experience — using the fire hose, navigating through a smoked-out building, climbing the ladder, exploring the fire truck and ambulance, practicing CPR and tourniquet use, operating a fire extinguisher, and testing their strength on the Kaiser sled! 💪🔥
Both days were a huge success, and we can’t thank Captain Addy and his team enough for their time, support, and for answering all of our students’ questions. 👏

When asked what inspired her to become a school psychologist, Danielle Burnash said:
“The desire to help children struggling with mental health challenges. ”
That passion shines through in her work every day at North Topsail Elementary and Topsail High, where Ms. Burnash focuses on helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
We’re grateful for everything she does to support our students and staff! 💙 THANK YOU!!
