Our second Signing Day event will be held on Thursday, 11.21.24 at 3:45 PM in our THS Media Center! We look forward to celebrating with three (3) very special young men from our Men's Lax program: Christian Ramos - Men's Lax - North Greenville University (NGU) Parker Booton - Men's Lax - Lander University (LU) Luke Hobbs - Men's Lax - Virginia Military Institute (VMI) We also look forward to additional Signing Day events in the coming weeks for several other of our outstanding THS Pirates Athletics Seniors as they sign to play at the next level! #TheTopsailWay WE > me

Last Friday, several of our CTE and JROTC students had the unique opportunity to participate in the Be Pro Be Proud simulator trailer experience! Using virtual reality, students explored careers by stepping into the shoes of a lineman, trying out welding, truck driving, and much more. Special thanks to our upper-level JROTC students, who served as student ambassadors, assisting staff and peers in navigating the equipment. We appreciate everyone’s hard work and support in making this day a success!

Bus 258 driver is out today. A bus will be late coming to pick up students who ride 258. Students will ride Bus 313.

As we get closer to finals, ACT testing, and with many students focusing on college admissions/scholarship essays, it’s a great program for students to utilize. Topsail High School Athletics Department is proud to announce the hiring of a new Assistant Wrestling Coach - Coach Steve Anceravage. Coach Anceravage was a State Runner-Up and State Champion at Bloomsburg High School in Bloomsburg, PA. Coach Anceravage went on to a stellar college wrestling career at Cornell University, going 119-28 overall. He was a 2X NCAA Division I All-American and a 4X NCAA National Qualifier. We are excited to see the great things Coach Anceravage will bring to our THS Wrestling programs! #TheTopsailWay #We>me

💪 Student Spotlight: Tyshawn! 💪 Meet Tyshawn, an inspiring 11th grader at Topsail High School, recognized by Ms. Stephanie Hoffman for his incredible perseverance! Tyshawn is non-verbal, but he continually shows his knowledge, kindness, and determination. He’s always ready to help students and staff and is admired by so many in the school. Tyshawn’s hard work has led to amazing progress on his IEP goals, and he’s even begun to say a few words verbally. His favorite food? Pizza! 🍕 Favorite color? Red! ❤️ Hobbies? Playing basketball 🏀 Tyshawn, thank you for reminding us of the strength of determination!

He previously served as Head Varsity Men’s Basketball Coach for 5 years at 2 High Schools in Wyoming, leading both schools to the State Tournament and a Regional Championship!
