Our students are doing a great job with learning about Bus Evacuations! Thank you to Mrs. Eames, our bus drivers, and teachers for making sure our students are safe.
Check out our updated marquee... WE HAVE PALM TREES! The trees and grasses were donated by P&L Palms. The installation was completed by Brad Wallace Irrigation and Landscape. The removal of the pampas grass was completed by Josh Blanton. The rocks, watering system, and additional plants were donated by Lowe's Improvement in Surf City. The STE PTO were the brains behind the project and a lot of the muscle as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
A HUGE thank you to all of those who donated and came out to our campus beautification project. A special shout-out to Word of Mouth Services, Renovation Church, Blanton Construction, LFTM Construction, STE PTO, and staff. Our campus looks rejuvenated and renewed. STE Kindergarten Orientation and Open House for grades 1st-5th grade. K Orientation will be from 3 pm-4 pm starting in the Gym. 1st-5th grade Open House will be from 4 pm-6 pm. If you are able to carpool with other families to assist with parking, that would be great! We cannot wait to see everyone!!

It was a "Full House" at STE, where "Family Matters," as staff attended their 90's-themed Opening Meeting. Teachers drank the "Curriculum Kool-Aid" and are ready to facilitate learning for our Stingrays next week! #STEFamilyMatters

After the stormy weather in the area, there is currently a power outage that is affecting South Topsail Elementary. Rest assured, all students are safe and accounted for. Your child's safety remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

PCS has been made aware of a damaged fiber cable which is affecting internet and phone service at all Topsail and Surf City schools. Four County Electric is currently investigating the issue to determine the location of the cut.

My name is Kathryn Bates and I am the newly assigned principal to South Topsail Elementary School. I would first off like to say how honored I am to be your next principal. I truly look forward to working along side of you to make this upcoming school year a great success. In preparation of the school year, I would love the opportunity to come together as a community to enhance the current landscaping around the school. It is my goal to make the school shine as bright on the outside as it already does on the inside. I want people to drive past the school and admire our beautiful campus. In order to make this dream a reality, I need your help. We will have two days to work together on our campus beautification project. August 11th and 12th from 7 am- 4 pm will be the dates and times that we will be on campus working. If you are unable to attend this event but would like to donate to our cause, please reach out to our PTO president, Tracy Williams (pto@southtopsailpto.com). She can provide you with tax write-off documentation if your company would also like to donate. Please fill use the link to fill-out the Google Form if you can attend or provide donations/equipment.
