Parent and Community Stakeholders will have an opportunity to view new curriculum in PCS. Teachers, Parents, and Community will have four opportunities to view the resources at Central Services (bldg. 300). The building will be open for both teachers and parents during the times stated on the attached flyer.
The STE Chorus directed by Ms. Rodgers did an amazing job performing on Tuesday at the PCS School Board Meeting. Great job Stingrays!

The STE Kindergarten team did a great job at the PCS Kindergarten Registration event! Fun was had by all!
Bus Drivers from PCS attended the 23-24 Local Bus Roadeo in Brunswick County. Pender, Brunswick and New Hanover county drivers enjoyed a day of showing off their driving skills.
Drivers were scored off 6 different maneuvers set up by DMV.
The top 3 drivers from each county will have the opportunity to participate at the district level in Fayetteville the end of April. More information coming on this soon.
I am beyond excited to announce that all scores from all 3 counties were announced and PCS held 1st and 3rd place!!!

The 5th Graders at STES celebrated the end of Module 2 and The Phantom Tollbooth with a Royal Banquet which was adapted from a scene in the novel. Students further celebrated the wordplay learned in the Module by dressing up and participating in a "Pun Parade" through the school. Students dressed as "Head in the Clouds", "Break a Leg", "Eyes in the Back of Your Head", "Raining Cats and Dogs" to name a few. The 5th grade teachers all dressed as characters from the novel - The Princesses Rhyme and Reason, The Mathemagician and Dr. Discord were all represented! Parents really were the heroes of the day making the vision come to life!
