This was our 8th grade field trip to Raleigh, NC.
The kids visited the N.C. Legislature building, Museum of Science, and History museum. It was a wonderful time!


It's bus driver appreciation week. Thank you to the SCMS PTA for treating our bus drivers all week!

The THS Roadshow was an awesome opportunity for our 8th graders to learn about all the clubs, organizations, and elective options available to them at the high school next year.








Congratulations to the students who participated in the NCMEA All District Clinic this past weekend at ECU! You did a fantastic job on the concert and represented our school and band well!

Job Shadow Day 2024 is coming up on February 29th! This is a day for 7th and 8th grade students to learn more about a profession they're interested in. Students can pick up a job shadowing form in the front office and they're due back to Ms. Smith by February 21st.

Congratulations to Kayln Barker and Evan Howe for having artwork selected into the “ARTolina Art Contest” and being selected winners! Both Kalyn and Evan’s artwork will be displayed inside WonderWorks for one year. Additionally, as a winner, the artists will receive 4 complimentary tickets to the attraction to see their masterpiece on display!
