35 Students in 8th Grade Certified in the EVERFI Venture Entrepreneurship edition. These modules helped them learn how to finance, budget, and create a Food Truck Business. Next, they created their own food trucks and labeled the inside of the food truck with appliances and details.

Thanks to our PTA and the Surf City McDonalds for a wonderful breakfast this morning! And gift cards from the PTA, as well! Y'all have made this home stretch so much fun, and we truly appreciate everything you're doing for our school and staff.
Thanks once again to our awesome PTA and community! We had a delicious lunch donated by our Surf City Camino Real today! Yum!!! And, we are all now sporting these cool totes with goodies inside, including key chains made by our incoming PTA President, Mrs Conway.

🎨✨ Each year, our talented 8th grade art students are invited to design the official t-shirt for the 8th grade band’s Carowinds trip. This year’s winning design was created by Ruth Barry, and it looked amazing! 👕🎉
Band students proudly wore Ruth’s design last Friday during their trip to Carowinds — a perfect way to showcase student creativity and school spirit! 🎶🎢

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are feeling the love! Thank you so much to our amazing PTA and community for the treats! Shout out to Low Tide for the delicious lunch yesterday and to Camino Real and Agave Azul for the awesome coupons!! (Reminder, that these are for the Surf City Camino Real and Sneads Ferry Agave Azul locations only) The PTA added pencil boxes, candy, and scratch off lottery tickets to add to the fun.

3:45 UPDATE - Campus has been cleared, students are in the gymnasium awaiting pickup.
All Surf City Elementary and Middle School Buses will run 45 min -1 hour late today.

We understand that safety is of the utmost concern, and we want to reassure you that all necessary precautions have been taken. Fire crews are on scene.
Due to the current situation there will be a delay that will affect car riders and buses.
