Paces

When the final school bell rings at Rocky Point Elementary School, the learning is far from over. Our PACES after-school program continues to give students a space to create, explore, move, and connect through hands-on activities that make every afternoon feel a little brighter.

Our Ram students jumped into a variety of engaging activities that blended creativity, teamwork, and fun. Some students kicked things off with group games full of laughter and friendly competition, while others took to the skies flying airplanes.

Students also explored STEM and art activities where they decorated colorful rocks and experimented with creative problem-solving projects. Another group learned how to make their very own bucket hats and picked up new crafting skills and showing off plenty of personality along the way.

Of course, PACES also makes time for academics. Students had opportunities to complete homework and receive support before heading home, helping build strong habits and confidence in the classroom.

Outside, the energy stayed high as students enjoyed a lively game of badminton in addition to students filled the afternoon air with giant bubbles, smiles, and nonstop excitement.

The PACES program continues to provide students with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can learn new skills, build friendships, and discover new interests beyond the school day. From STEM to crafts to outdoor play, every afternoon offers something meaningful for our students.

Families interested in joining the fun are encouraged to enroll for next year’s PACES program. Spots fill quickly, and we are excited to continue growing this incredible after-school community at Rocky Point Elementary!
