To celebrate Better Hearing and Speech Month, Ms. Kunath’s fourth-grade students took on a fun and educational project — creating an interactive bulletin board all about speech and language development! With enthusiasm and creativity, the students worked together to design a display filled with helpful resources, interesting facts, and common myths about speech therapy.
Their goal was to raise awareness and share important information with students, staff, and families throughout the school community. From colorful posters to fun, fact-filled cards, their work highlighted the many ways speech and language skills impact learning, communication, and social connection.
As part of the celebration, students also posted speech therapy facts and encouraging messages around the school to spark curiosity and start conversations. They had a fantastic time bringing the project to life, and their efforts helped make speech and language awareness both fun and meaningful for everyone!
