Good afternoon Rocky Point Families,

A huge thank you to all families who attended our 4th and 5th grade spring performances and our Math and Science Night on Thursday evening.  We had 20% of our total school population in attendance.  For our grade levels performing, we had 49% of our 4th grade students in attendance and 23% of our 5th grade students in attendance.  As stated following our Kindergarten and First performances and Talent Show, we would love to receive feedback from those families who were not able to attend on how we can minimize barriers as a means of increasing attendance at these events.  On Monday, we will be sending home a take-home activity connected with our Math and Science Night with all students for you to carefully try at home with your child.

If you have a child that will be 3 or 4 before Aug 31st, they are age eligible to apply for preschool.  If you have not completed an application or have not turned in all documents for an application, please contact the Preschool Admin Office at 910-259-7603.  We would hate for you to miss out on this opportunity if your child is eligible for the program.

If you are a third grade parent, we would love for you to attend one of our information sessions relating to EOGs on Wednesday, April 26th.  To accommodate families, we will have one session at 1:50pm and a second session at 5:30pm.  Both sessions will take place in the school cafeteria.

As a Title 1 School, we are wanting your feedback through our Spring Parent Survey.  Please complete the survey at the link provided below and it can also be found on our school website and our school Facebook page.
