Good afternoon Rocky Point Families,

Thank you to all families who supported our PTO in purchasing Spring Candy Grams as well as Art to Remember fundraiser and the School Store.

We highly appreciate all families for working hard to have students at school and on time for assessments this past week.  We only have three students remaining with make-ups as a result of the excellent attendance in grades 3-5.

Thank you to the 83% of our school population for returning the yellow bus ridership forms.  We only have 61 forms remaining to be returned.  Please expect a call from us this upcoming week if your child has not returned a form at this point.

If you have not purchased a yearbook, please do so as time is running out to order your 2022-2023 yearbook!  We ensure that every student is in the yearbook at least one time, with many students appearing multiple times!  Yearbooks can be ordered online at www.strawbridge.net using code "YB26496" until April 15th.  After that point, yearbooks will be available to purchase from the office for $25 until all yearbooks are sold; all purchases made in the office must be made in cash.  If you have any questions, you can contact Mrs. Black at laura_black@pender.k12.nc.us

Mark your calendars for tentatively planned events for the remainder of the year:

A reminder that there will be no school for students tomorrow, Monday, April 10th.  With a little humor in our quote for the week in the spirit of the holiday:  “Easter egg hunts are proof that children can find things when they really want”.  We hope all families have had a blessed Easter weekend and we are looking forward to seeing students Tuesday morning.  We are still striving for excellent attendance for the remainder of the school year!  Have a great week!
