Our 8th graders are off to an amazing start! Here's what's been happening in the first two weeks:
📚 Mr. Black's Class is mastering academic vocabulary through an engaging Jigsaw activity! Students are collaborating across groups, gathering key information, and bringing their knowledge back to share with their teams. Love seeing these critical thinking skills in action! 🧩
🥤 Ms. Anderson's Class took on the Cup Challenge! Students worked together to build communication skills and strengthen their teamwork abilities. It's incredible to watch them problem-solve and support each other! 💪
🌎 Mr. David's Social Studies Class is exploring the Columbian Exchange in a delicious way! Students are creating their own restaurants and menus based on the flow of people, animals, and plants that traveled to and from the Americas after Christopher Columbus's voyage. What a creative way to bring history to life! 🍽️
