Our students have begun an exciting new Wit & Wisdom module focused on the American West! As we dive into this rich and complex part of American history, students are building both their knowledge and critical thinking skills through a variety of activities.
So far, we've explored how geography shaped life in the West by learning about the compass rose and understanding directions on a map. Students also created a timeline of key events to better grasp the sequence and impact of major moments in this period. One highlight has been our study of the buffalo and its essential role in the lives of Native American communities. This has sparked thoughtful conversations about culture, survival, and change.
