This week 5th grade students completed the 10 week D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program taught by Deputy Hall. Students have participated in biweekly lessons that are designed to deter drug use, gang membership, and violent behavior. They have learned how to respond to various scenarios, ways to communicate confidently, and the importance of reporting bullying. Each student received a t-shirt and a certificate of completion. We are so proud of our D.A.R.E. scholars!
