Our 8th graders have been diving into the magical world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and what better way to bring Shakespeare to life than with a little drama?
To wrap up our unit, students took part in a Reader’s Theater-style activity where they acted out key scenes from the play. Reading the lines aloud and stepping into character helped them connect with the story in a fresh, hands-on way with plenty of laughs along the way!
Even better? It showed just how much they’ve learned—and helped us identify a few spots where the plot still needed some untangling. (Fairy mischief and love potions will do that to you!)
Learning + laughter = the perfect way to end our Shakespeare adventure!
