On April 12, 2025, Penderlea School celebrated its annual Penderlea Day with a fantastic turnout, despite the chilly weather! Families, students, and staff bundled up to enjoy a day packed with fun and festivities.
Local vendors set up booths offering crafts, treats, and more, while students showcased their talents with lively performances. Music and dancing kept spirits high throughout the day, and book lovers enjoyed browsing the used book sale for new treasures.
One of the highlights was the "Pie in the Face" event, where both Principal Mr. Harris and Assistant Principal Dr. Goodlett bravely took pies to the face — much to the delight of the cheering crowd! Thanks to the incredible support from the community, Penderlea Day raised just over $2,000 for the school-wide fundraiser.
