Pender High School will once again host its annual blood drive in honor of Corporal Mark Bibby, continuing a tradition that has been taking place for over a decade. This year is no different, as our JROTC cadets have spent weeks promoting the event with posters and flyers to encourage both teachers and students to donate.
With a goal of collecting 60 units of blood, the JROTC program is trying several new ways to spread the word and boost participation. Donors will receive a $15 gift card and a free T-shirt as a thank-you for supporting the drive.
The blood drive will be held in the Pender High School gym beginning at 8:00 a.m. on March 25.
To everyone who has already signed up, thank you for your support. Your donation can help save lives and make a meaningful difference in our community.
